Weekend at home

So i'm back from an awesome weekend at home...

Me and my girlfriend went to see "In Time" at the cinema on Saturday and I personally thought it was brilliant. It had some great tense moments throughout, some great action scenes and I think it's a fantastic social commentary. Check out the trailer and then go see it for yourself! Justin Timberlake does a great job in playing his role! (Probably a better actor than singer imo lol).

I then watched "V for Vendetta" on TV when I got back, which is another great movie with a brilliant theme. If you haven't seen it already (It's quite a few years old now), I highly recommend it.

On the musical front, I've been watching Vildhjarta's new music video for "Benblåst" which is a bit surreal and almost disturbing to some levels o.O haha. I have faith that their album will be good though and i'm looking forward to it later this month. I also came across Skyharbor's latest track "Celestial" ft Dan Tompkins (Former Tesseract Vocalist). And Wow! It's absolutely brilliant. Check it out:

And finally for this post. It's only roughly 24 hours until I may potentially be standing in the midnight queue for the release of Modern Warfare 3. I can't wait! I hope it's not going to be too detrimental to my studies here. But luckily next week is also reading week so i'm bound to get some good play time in! Hey guys,
               Just to update, I also received my copy of Uneven Structures "Februus" through the post yesterday! It's such a brilliant album...so I definitely recommend checking it out if your a fan of bands such as Tesseract, Vildhjarta, Periphery etc...

Hello! My First Post...

Hey everyone! This is my first post so I thought i'd introduce myself...

My names Christian, I'm a Law & Psychology student at Nottingham Trent University and I also write, record and produce all the music for my band "Fractal Artifact". In the sidebar i've linked to my YouTube channel where a lot of my music and videos can be found...so feel free to check it out!

My music can also be found on Facebook & Soundcloud, so i'll share some links at the end of this blog.
If you're a fan of progressive metal, or more specifically "Djent" and if you enjoy ambient tracks then I think you'll find something to enjoy.

I was inspired to start this blog by my girlfriend Paige. She's an awesome photographer and just a generally all-round fantastic and lovely person. I'll link you guys up to her photography page at the end. But seriously, I wouldn't want to spend a day without this girl in my life!

I've also recently started a Lookbook on which i'll be posting probably quite frequently in the future. I have a REALLY bad habit of spending ridiculous amounts of money on clothes and this is made even worse by the fact that I have an expensive taste.
